How does Zippigo work?
Our workflow is simple: we coordinate with vetted local moving partners to pack and move your items from your home, store them in our secure warehouses, and return them when you need them. You can track your items via the Zippigo dashboard.

Where is Zippigo available?
We currently operate in key metro hubs across India, including (for example) Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and other cities. If your city is not listed, reach out and we’ll explore options.

What items can I store?
You can store almost anything — except items restricted by safety or legal regulations. We do *not* accept: liquids (including alcohol), perishable food, hazardous materials (flammables, explosives), illegal substances, or firearms & ammunition.

How are storage costs calculated?
Storage, pickup, and return rates are based on the volume and duration of storage. During your estimate, our move-coordinator calculates the required cubic/square footage. On pickup, we confirm actual usage and charge pro rata for your first month.

When will I receive the move-in bill?
We’ll charge a token amount when you confirm booking. After pickup, once inventory is verified, we finalize the move-in bill within 3–5 business days. Thereafter, monthly invoices are generated and due as per billing cycle.

How do I cancel my Zippigo storage subscription?
If you wish to cancel, contact your Zippigo account manager or support. If you exit before completing any minimum commitment, early termination charges may apply. We schedule item return within 7 days of cancellation request (subject to availability).

What is the monthly payment schedule?
Your storage subscription starts on the “move-in date.” Each subsequent month, the billing cycle begins on that same date. Invoices are generated a few days earlier, and payment is due by month-end.

What if I miss a payment?
Timely payments are essential. Delays beyond the due date may attract penalty charges (e.g. up to 10% on outstanding dues). We will send reminders via email/SMS before the due date.

Are there additional service costs (for dismantling, packing, etc.)?
Yes. For certain services like dismantling large furniture, AC, or specialized woodwork, additional charges apply. Your Zippigo coordinator will share these costs upfront.

Does Zippigo help with packing?
Yes. Our moving partners bring packing materials and help pack your items on pickup day. For delicate or bulky items (like pianos or gym equipment), we may require advance coordination.

Can I visit the storage facility to drop off items myself?
No. To maintain security, our warehouses are closed to the public. All drop-offs and pickups happen via our service network. You can, however, request item returns at your convenience.

Can I pick up and add items in one go?
Yes. Upon request, we can coordinate concurrent deliveries and pick‐ups. Just inform your Zippigo contact and we’ll manage logistics accordingly.

What about adding unexpected items during pickup?
If there’s a large change in your inventory list, we may revise the estimate. It’s best to inform us in advance to avoid surprises.

Can I store full gas cylinders?
For safety, full gas cylinders cannot be stored as is. These should be emptied before proceeding with storage.

How do I schedule delivery of stored goods?
Contact your Zippigo account manager or support to schedule delivery. We recommend giving at least one week's advance notice for returns to ensure smooth operations.

Is delivery charged?
Yes. Transportation and unloading charges for delivering your items from storage to your location are billed separately when delivery is made.

How secure are my items?
Your items are stored in commercial warehouses with 24/7 monitoring, restricted access, and managed by professional, background-checked moving partners. We also offer optional supplemental insurance—contact us for details.

Do I need to provide identification?
Yes. KYC is mandatory. You’ll typically be asked to submit two government-issued IDs (for example, Aadhar and PAN) during registration or before item pickup.

KYC ensures security, compliance with legal regulations, and helps us maintain the integrity of our operations.

Are storage charges increased annually?
Yes, Zippigo may apply an annual increase (e.g. 5–10%) to storage charges to adjust for rising real estate and operating costs. You’ll be notified in advance of any change.

Do I need to agree to the annual increment?
Yes, by using our service you implicitly agree to the possibility of such annual adjustments. Any changes will be communicated prior to implementation.
